The advantage of these products compared to those commonly on the market is that our Leveling products are not gypsum-based. Like gypsum, our levellers do not shrink, but do not have the disadvantages of gypsum. In fact, our Leveling is alkaline and therefore has natural anti-mould properties. Plus, you’ll be able to apply the decorative finish without the need for primer. Leveling Base is used in the first coat, while Liscio for the second.

Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ on Stucco Italiano’s Stucco Additives
Why are so many stucco additives needed?

We designed our Stucco & Marmorino additives to facilitate the application or to help the applicator to apply our plasters in extreme conditions. For example, in excessive heat, very large walls, crumbly or very smooth substrates such as marble or tiles. Furthermore, other additives for Venetian plaster and Italian stuccos are useful to cope with particular requests from the end client, when the material needs to be modified to make it brighter, phosphorescent, or with colored dots.

I read that your stucco additives partecipate in the Stucco Italiano philosophy. What does it mean?

Stucco Italiano is a system designed primarily for the craftsman. Therefore, our Stucco additives are used to give space to the creativity and imagination of our primary customers. The majority of these are decorative additives for Venetian plaster or other Italian stuccos.
